Founded in 1989, the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Foundation is the fundraising arm of the Royal Children’s Hospital, one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals. The RCH Foundation has the vital role of raising and distributing donated funds to the hospital, enabling the very best patient and family care and support, and saving and improving the lives of our sickest children. While a legally separate organisation, the RCH Foundation works closely with the RCH in achieving its vision.

About the role
Join Our Team as a Manager, Corporate Partnerships!
Are you an experienced corporate partnerships professional, who is passionate about making a difference in children’s health? We are now recruiting for a full-time, permanent Manager, Corporate Partnerships to work closely with our Director of Fundraising and manage a small team.
The Role
The Manager, Corporate Partnerships is responsible for the development of corporate support, partnering and business development, and will help plan and implement a successful strategy to engage the corporate sector. This role is responsible for growing the financial contribution of existing corporate relationships as well as identifying and engaging new opportunities, and for presenting a compelling case for support to companies and workplaces.
About You
- You are purpose driven and committed to the mission and values of the RCH Foundation
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in similar corporate relationship management roles, including with workplace giving programs
- You have experience in developing fundraising experience including products and campaigns that align with the Foundation’s strategic plan
- You have demonstrated experience in corporate fundraising and business development, with a successful track record of securing significant and repeat funding from corporate partners
- You have a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate partners and stakeholders
- You have exceptional written and verbal communication, project management and presentation skills, as well as advanced computer literacy, including the Microsoft Office Suite
- You have demonstrated attention to detail, working under own initiative to strict deadlines, and managing accounts and projects simultaneously
- You have a high level of maturity and ability to exercise discretion in dealing with sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality
- You are proficient in time management and team leadership skills, with experience leading and mentoring team members
- You are confident in your work, but know when and how to consult others to keep work moving, to achieve the best results and to avoid risk
- You have a commitment to personal development and staying in touch with Corporate Fundraising trends in the sector and internationally
- Ideally, you have organisational awareness and stakeholder management expertise, as well as demonstrated experience of managing and motivating staff and others both internal and external
Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in managing a small team or individual direct report
- Strong experience cultivating corporate gifts and stewardship of longstanding major corporate donors
- Demonstrated experience in corporate fundraising and workplace giving
- Outstanding customer service skills and experience in managing multiple donor programs and campaigns.
- Strong experience forecasting fundraising income, and developing and managing operational and event budgets.
- Demonstrated experience at delivering the highest of quality intimate and larger events to best steward corporate donors.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage and grow donors.
- Excellent written and verbal communications, and strong administrative skills.
